To make the Crispy Baked Tofu recipe for serving 30 people in a restaurant setting follow the easy recipe instructions below:


Ingredients:

  • 6 blocks (about 4200g) firm tofu
  • 3 cups cornstarch
  • 6 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 6 teaspoons onion powder
  • 6 teaspoons paprika
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 3 teaspoons black pepper
  • Cooking spray or olive oil, for greasing
  • Soy sauce, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease several baking sheets with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. Drain the tofu and press out excess water. Cut each block into 15 slices and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Coat each tofu slice in the cornstarch mixture and place on the prepared baking sheets.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
  6. Serve the crispy baked tofu hot, with soy sauce for dipping.
