  3. Stir in the curry powder, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and garam masala, and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add the tomato paste, chickpeas, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in the coconut milk and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  7. Serve the chickpea curry over cooked rice, garnished with fresh cilantro.
