If you are looking to celebrate a plant-based and vegan lifestyle, the 10th annual Lancaster VegFest is returning to Pennsylvania. Billed as a "plant-based event for all," this annual festival is dedicated to educating the community about the multi-faceted benefits of vegan living.

Event Details: When & Where
- Dates: Saturday, June 6th and Sunday, June 7th, 2026.
- Time: General admission runs from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on both days.
- Location: Buchanan Park, located at 901 Buchanan Ave, Lancaster, PA 17603.
- Cost: It is entirely FREE to enter the festival. However, attendees are encouraged to consider donating at the door to the Lancaster Farm Sanctuary, who will be collecting contributions to support their cause.

What’s on the Schedule?
The weekend is packed with activities designed for attendees of all ages, including live performances, educational panels, and wellness sessions.
- Live Music & Speakers: The main stage will feature varied musical acts and insightful talks. Saturday’s lineup includes performances by Inca Campers (playing funky originals with Americana and Latin influences) and the Philly-based, all-vegan girl band Laura Cheadle + The Girls. On Sunday, The Wild Hymns will perform dreamy folk-pop, followed by the funky-blues-rock sounds of Bushmaster Blues featuring Gary Brown.
- Social Justice and Animal Advocacy Panels: On Saturday at 2:00 PM, founders Sarah Salluzzo and Jonina Turzi will present "Lancaster Farm Sanctuary: Why Sanctuary Changes Everything," discussing how to view farmed animals as individuals. On Sunday at 2:00 PM, Brenda Sanders will host a powerful session titled "It's all Connected: Veganism as a Tool for Social Justice," exploring equity, human health, and community futures.
- Chef Demos: Whole food, plant-based advocate and recipe creator Halle High-Benson (the voice behind wfpbme.com) will host cooking demonstrations at 3:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday.
- Community Yoga: Hosted by West End Yoga, free community yoga sessions will take place at 1:00 PM on both days, focusing on connecting the mind, body, soul, and heart to all living beings.
- Kids & Family Activities: Young festival-goers can enjoy a variety of activities starting at 12:00 PM on Saturday, including a magical Giant Bubble Station, a craft workshop hosted by the Susquehanna Waldorf School, and a special appearance by Flyleaf The Book Fairy.
- Pet-Friendly Fun: Four-legged family members are welcome too! Dogs can cool off and unwind at Beau's Dream Dog Park, located right inside Buchanan Park.

The presenting sponsor is the Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative (LFFC), a non-profit organic farmer's cooperative representing over 100 family farmers in Lancaster County. LFFC focuses on generating high-quality food using enriched soils and runs a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) subscription program.
